Akbar Karimi-Asl was a 25-year-old filmmaker from Hashtrud who disappeared during the November 2019 protests. After two weeks of being missing, his body was discovered in the Sahand Dam. His remains bore significant signs of torture, including multiple cuts to his head and face.
اکبر کریمیاصل، فیلمساز ۲۵ ساله اهل هشترود، در جریان اعتراضات آبان ۱۳۹۸ مفقود شد. پس از دو هفته بیخبری، پیکر او در حالی در سد سهند پیدا شد که آثار بریدگیهای متعدد و نشانههای شکنجه در ناحیه سر و صورت او مشهود بود.
